3 Strategies for Cultivating Motivation

Creating and maintaining motivation can be challenging. Studies reveal that motivation in the workplace alone is multifaceted, involving factors like recognition, personal growth, and a sense of belonging. As we kick-start the New Year, here are our top three effective strategies to help you cultivate motivation and achieve your goals in the workplace and in life.

Connect with Motivators: Spend time with people who inspire and motivate you. Whether it's a mentor, manager, or a friend, these connections can provide encouragement and valuable insights. Team up with a friend, hire a health professional or join a sporting community if you are looking to achieve physical health goals. This will create accountability and allows you to have someone in your corner who supports you and has your best interests at heart. 

3. Personal Growth and Development 

Invest in Continuous Learning: Dedicate time to learn new skills or deepen existing ones. Online courses, workshops, or even self-taught skills can greatly contribute to your personal growth and motivation. 

Embrace Challenges as Opportunities: View challenges as chances to grow. Stepping out of your comfort zone can be motivating, as it leads to personal development and new experiences.
